engineer had allowed yO to bring together and nurture both
talents while spending working time on the island of Shemya in
the Alaskan Aleutian Islands
one artistic perspective of yO's work corresponds to the multitude
of encompassing small lines, engulfing the art subject, as a philosophical
reminder of the complexities associated with the apparent simplicity
of the art subject itself
